Alpha Beta Gamma - Rho Alpha Chapter

The Business Division meets the needs of four groups of students in the field of Business:

Students who want to transfer to a senior college or university after two years at AC
Students who want to obtain a two-year degree from Angelina College and begin a career in the field of business
Students who want a one-year or one-semester course of study before entering the work force
Students who want to participate in a career development program offered by the Business Division

There are specific degree and course requirements for Associate of Science (Leading to a BBA), Associate of Applied Science degrees, and for the one-year and one-semester Certificate of Completion programs. With minor exceptions, all degree-seeking students must take the THEA test. All certificate majors are required to take the Work Keys Assessment Test.

Virtually all Business Division courses are eventually available in the day and evening during the college year. Placement rate of degree graduates is at or above 85% for practically all majors. Many classes are offered in Angelina College’s off-campus locations. The Division attempts to respond to demand at all teaching centers.
